Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are opening the 20th International Mime Art Festival.
It will be a journey through the diverse forms of modern mime
theatre in Europe. A theatre that, despite coming from many places, is united
by the idea of art beyond words, which is an ever-increasing challenge. Original
poetics, humour, the astonishing sensibility and emotionality of creators
and performers put mime art beyond any easy definitions. Thanks to
artists from Poland, Germany, Spain and Italy this year's Festival will show
you an ambiguous, interesting and moving colors of the beautiful art of
conscious silence.

We have gone through many changes and even more is yet to come. 
This year, we celebrate 20 years of the International Mime Art Festival. Since Scena Na Woli, where we were present from the beginning of the Festival, has been closed,
we began an unexpected journey around Warsaw’s theatre stages.  Our long-time cooperation with Dramatyczny Theatre is at an end.
We are very thankful for all the years together. We have changed the Festival's location and also, exceptionally for this year, we set new dates. The 20th edition takes place in Warsaw on 11-16 November 2020.

The new venue for the celebration of the Art of Mime is PROM
KULTURY in Saska Kępa. We are looking forward with excitement to cooperating with this beautiful space on Warsaw’s cultural map. This is where we will expect our viewers
during the Festival.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The current situation, especially the dynamic changes regarding access to theatres, prompts us to introduce further limitations. Due to the latest regulations, we are forced to close our doors for the audience. 
We are doing everything in our power to present the performances. As a result, the shows will be available for watching in two different ways:
- all performances via live streaming on Facebook Prom Kultury Saska Kępa Theatre
- the day after the performance, accessing a specially prepared VOD recording of the performance from the Prom Kultury stage. All you need to do is log in to our platform VOD.MIMOWIE.PL

All performances, both live streamings and those posted on the vod.mimowie.pl platform, can be watched for free.

We are looking forward to meeting you on that special occasion.
