MASTERS OF MIME ART IN BRAND NEW SHOW!
... the extraordinary adventures of Nowak, Kowalski, Wisniewski...
At first glance, Mr. Nowak is seen as an exemplary employee who has never been guilty of anything. his “society coefficient” is very high and therefore classified as positive. In the past 12 months, his "monitoring number" has never been listed in the "inconvenience register" of the inspection bodies.
We have to go back to 2004 to get a report on his only misstep:
On September 7th, when he was looking for the toilet in a restaurant, he opened the wrong door...!
In other words, nothing happens that could suggest that Mr. Nowak would leave something extraordinary for posterity.
In fact, that morning while spreading butter on his third toast, Nono (as his friends call him) stumbles upon the craziest idea he’s ever had – or at least so he believes... He decides to take a drive around the country to select a group of guests as diverse as possible, to be representative of the human species.
He looks for the most discreet people, "Monsieur et Madame tout le monde" / "Nowak, Kowalski, Wisniewski.." to highlight their uniqueness and their magical part in humanity. After choosing them, he invites them to settle in his "ark" which he built for 12 years and 3 days. All that so he could confidently wait for the tide.
Every citizen would lead to the building of a new society in the most democratic way. After the flood, when everything has to be reinvented, Mr. Nowak will need all his strength to build a fair future.
Alexander Neander and Wolfram von Bodecker will take turns interpreting these selected candidates for 1h30. Not the brightest or the richest, not the loveliest, not always the first in line...
What criteria did Mr. Nowak use to select you? No doubt, they all have an extra soul which we call goodness and which makes it possible for all people to live together in the ark and, even moreso, thereafter...
Lionel Ménard.

Bodecker Neander Compagnie
In 1996, after ending their studies in „École Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris” under the tutelage of Marcel Marceau, Wolfram von Bodecker and Alexander Neander brought Théâtre Mimo Magique to life. Since 2006, they’ve used the name „Compagnie Bodecker Neander”. Their first show, titled “Silence”, received the „Berlin Audience Award”, and their next production „Out of the blue” was a major success both among the audiences and the critics.
The artistic couple presents the idea of a „visual concerto”: during joint performances with large groups of musicians, such as: „Stuttgarter Kammerorchester”, London’s „Arditti Quartet” or Liepzig’s „Gewandhaus-Oktett”, they uncover a new, fascinating combination of pantomime and music to their audiences. During numerous world-spanning tours „Compagnie Bodecker Neander” has travelled across Europe, Asia, North and South America. Thanks to the universal scope of visual theatre of this pair of mimes, they are particularly valued as guests at international festivals. All their productions are created in cooperation with the director Lionel Ménard.
