Felipe Vélez Martinez – Colombia

A physical theatre actor, mime artist, teacher and physical training coach from Colombia, currently connected with the Spanish movement theatre scene and the company Los Escultores del Aire in Barcelona. His artistic research focuses on Dramatic Corporeal Mime, developed by Étienne Decroux, theatre anthropology and contemporary forms of physical expression.

Since 2017, he has been developing his skills by working with movement theatre artists from Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Spain. In his work, he pays particular attention to the actor's stage presence, the quality of energy in movement, body awareness and the relationship between technique and emotion. He combines experience in physical theatre, pantomime and body training, creating his own approach to the performer's work.

Mireia Rigol Huamani – Spain

A Spanish performer, actress and creator associated with physical and visual theatre, dance and corporeal mime. Together with Felipe Vélez, she co-creates Kiriko Theatre. In her work, she focuses on exploring the body, the poetics of image and the creation of immersive stage atmospheres.

Her artistic practice combines movement, stage presence, visual composition and the symbolic dimension of the performer's action. Within Kiriko Theatre, she has developed, among others, the project "IKIBAI", which explores the relationship between love and death through the body, movement and stage imagery. She is also associated with "Mutis", presented as part of the Me, Myself & I programme at Teatro Pradillo in Madrid.

The workshop is open to participants with experience in physical theatre.

Registration opens on 1 September 2026.
